On Tuesday 11th November several Sponne students came to school in service uniform and Yr 7 students gathered together outside to observe a minute of silence as an act of Remembrance. Other year groups also observed the silence in their classrooms. Head Prefects Annabelle and Annie read out the names of former Towcester Grammar School students who lost their lives in World War 1 and also read an extract from the poem "For the Fallen" by Laurence Binyon and the Kohima Epitaph. Amelia (Yr 11) performed the Last Post and Reveille. Adam (Yr 13) also performed the Last Post at Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary School.
