Caroline Chisholm School 3-3 Sponne (Sponne win 18-17 on penalties) 🏆⚽
Sponne stormed out of the blocks with a dominant first-half performance to take a 3-0 lead.
Missed chances early in the second half to put the game beyond reach proved costly as CCS grew into the tie. A penalty got CCS back into it before two more goals completed a remarkable comeback to level at 3-3. Sponne missed an agonisingly close late chance to snatch it, sending the game to spot-kicks.
What followed was a marathon of a shootout, with Sponne eventually holding their nerve to win 18-17 thanks to absolute heroics from Harry in goal! 🧤🔥
On to the next round! 👏
