A busy afternoon for the girls teams with Years 7/8 Netball and Years 9/10/11 Hockey squads representing Sponne on Tuesday 7th October, when they played away league matches against Moulton School.
Netball
The netball squad fielded both A and B teams from Year 7, with the A team winning their game 18-6, and also the B team winning 8-0.
Year 8 also fielded two teams for their matches; the A team won their game 14-8 and the B team drew their match with 6 goals apiece.
Hockey – 7 a side
The Year 9 squad fought a tough match resulting in a 2 all draw, and the Year 10/11 team just lost their game, with a very close score of 2-3.
