On Tuesday 13th October, students from Sponne competed at the District X-Country Championship held at Courteenhall estate. We were somewhat lucky with the weather and blessed with sunshine, after a rather wet morning(!) All students were fired up for their races and ran incredibly well, producing some excellent finishing results.
Particular congratulations to the following students for finishing in the top 15 & qualifying for the County round:
Year 8 boys - Freddie (8th)
Year 9 girls - Ella (6th) Millie (13th)
Year 9 boys - Taylor (7th) James (8th) Harrison (11th)
Year 11 boys - Harry (3rd)
