Behaviour Clinic – Relational Adult Behaviour

This session is led by Lisa Smith

Audience: Those working in pastoral roles in secondary schools.

In today’s educational landscape, the "why" behind our interactions matters more than ever. Join us for a 1.5-hour interactive workshop designed specifically for education staff who want to move beyond traditional behaviour management and embrace the power of Relational Practice.

The session will explore:

  • The Science of Connection: Unpack the latest research explaining why relational practice is the backbone of successful schools and how it aligns with the latest Ofsted framework
  • Real-World Scenarios: Consider different situations and map out best-practice approaches from a relational lens.
  • Collaborative Reflection: Connect with peers to share what’s working in your setting and share ideas of best practice.

The Outcome

A better understanding of relational practice and the confidence to implement elements of it within your own setting.
