We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational leader as the Head of Sixth Form from September 2020 in this vibrant and exciting School. The Head of Sixth Form is a key role and leads a team of tutors who have responsibility for around 270 students.
Sixth Form students are role models to other students and are expected to play a vital role across many aspects of the school beyond their academic studies. The sixth form leadership team inspire the students to achieve their potential and ensure that students develop the personal skills they will require for their future learning and employment. The role has a teaching commitment and all subject specialism can be accommodated.
The successful candidate will:
• Have Qualified Teacher status
• Have a proven track record of outstanding outcomes in their own teaching
• Be experienced in making a positive impact on the learning of students through the monitoring of academic progress
• Have to meet the person specification and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
