Our Results - A Level 2017

Students and staff at Sponne School in Towcester are celebrating another excellent set of A Level results this year with many individuals achieving outstanding grades. Results have been very good for many years with most achieving the highest grades available. Just under 50% of students gained the very highest A*-B grades with all students passing. Students did particularly well with the very highest grades of A* and A grade with a quarter of all results being achieved at these levels.

Amongst the many delighted students today was one who achieved A*’s in all of her subjects, Lucy Adams, who with Laura Simpson (who gained 2A*’s and 1A) will be starting at Oxford University in the new academic year. In addition to this, both Katie Kitchen and Jake Ward gained 2A* and 1A grades in their three A Levels plus an extra AS A grade. Harriet Noy, Evie Bilioni and Jack Holmes all gained an A* and 2 As, whilst a number of other students gained all As in their subjects including Josh Adams, Peter Best, Michael Fish and Sophia King. Many other students gained at least 1 A* or A in their set of results.
